Take Note Designer Classic Notebook

This is the Erin Condren Take Note Designer Classic Notebook.  I had mine made with the yearly calendar.  The calendar is just a monthly spread and is tabbed with laminated tabs.  Each month starts with a pretty design and a small month at a glance calendar.  Honestly, I've never used that little calendar and often forget it's there.  As you can see I use mine for my Girl Scout troop, I actually uncoiled mine and added pages behind each month.  There is only one page of 'notes' after each month and that wasn't enough for what I intended on using this notebook for so it was just a very minor inconvenience.  It took me less than an hour to uncoil, add the pages, and recoil.

I got my calendar to start in December, here is a look at each monthly designer page:

I absolutely LOVE Octobers page design.  And November.  So, you have the design page, turn it and there is your calendar.  They're identical to the Life Planner monthly spreads.  Then you turn the page again and there is the single lined note page.  Again, I took pages from back half of the notebook and added more note pages behind my months.  It comes with 63 lined pages and 9 blank pages.

Here are the blank pages.  Each page is a different color.

If you order the notebook with the calendar you will get 2 pages of event stickers and 2 pages of blank stickers, you will NOT get these if you do not get the calendar.  Also, you'll get the zippered pouch with custom labels and blank stickers as well.  These come in every notebook regardless if you get the calendar or not.  You will also get a 'Keep it Together' Folder.

Overall, I love my notebook.  I've been using it since I got it in December and it's a great place to keep all of my Girl Scout dates.  This makes it SO much easier than clogging up my life planner with all of our Scout dates.  I use my planner as a journal too so space is at a premium.

The cost of just the notebook is $35, the calendar is $15, so about the cost of a Life Planner.  If you just need a monthly spread these are great, but honestly, if you don't write a lot or need all the note pages the Life Planner is probably a better option.  Also, if you want the extra note pages behind each month then you have to uncoil it and do it yourself which can be difficult or tedious, the company will not do it for you.

Welcome!

Welcome to my new blog!  Ever find a product you're so in love with because it just radically changes your life?  That happened with me once I discovered Erin Condren.  I had lusted over her Life Planners for years but never could convince myself I needed a $50 planner, a paper planner at that.  I used my crappy $7 ones for a few months then quit.  In August of 2013, I finally bit the bullet and bought one.  I needed organization in my life and store bought planners just didn't do it for me.

I have used it religiously since I got it.  In fact, I love mine so much I bought a notebook and added a monthly calendar to it for my Girl Scout troop!  I keep very important Girl Scout dates in my a planner but keep ALL important Girl Scout dates in my notebook.  I also bought my daughter a notebook just for her for Christmas.  She loves having such an awesome notebook that came with stickers just for her!

Another lovely thing that Erin Condren does is they include a small assortment of gift labels with your first order and they include some personalized labels to match your planner or notebook with every order.

I absolutely love my planner and Erin Condren.  I put everything in there from work details to daily to do lists to journaling of huge every day.  I'm trying to get better at doing my project life album and this is helping tremendously!!
